Because for the rest of the public, party militants are "biased" - respectable, but their stance is known.
But today, the PD militants have started a real tectonic movement from below - this in several ways, whether by boycott, or by approaching or attaching themselves to different groups or characters. In general logic, the Democrats want to change the political caste of the PD, the problem is that they can't do it, because things are being manipulated.
