Woe to those who do not understand that the Berisha era or time is over. They are unlucky or incapable, this cannot be said, but that they are ignorant, this is not discussed. To believe Sali Berisha's name on the list today, to believe him today that he "will bring the DP to power", or that he "will make Albania Great", is the same as if you have never lived in this country. To believe that man today that, "he will defeat Edi Rama, will take power, that he will fight Soros, that he will increase salaries and pensions, that he will lead the country to the EU", and other gimmicks, is the same as believing that Enver Hoxha will be resurrected. But even after 34 years, there are still wretches or "idealists" who think that "their fate depends on Sali Berisha".
Against their mental and logical wishes, they have started appearing on screens and are repeating his propaganda about the "victory of May 11". How ridiculous it is, when you see Belinda or Flamur addressing the audience of closed halls that "Berisha is the creator, he is the shining star, he is leading us to power, without Berisha we are lost, he is a friend of Trump".
Just think, if God were to act and bring the DP and Berisha back to power? The country would experience unheard-of macabre, and the Albanians the ordeal of former suffering. Think, if Berisha were to return to power, what could happen to the economy, tourism, investments, businesses, education, health, art, culture, police and army, integration and the country's image in Europe? We would go back 30 years.
We would lose every favor that the EU has given us and trusted us with until now, we would shrink the initiatives of the Europeans to support Albania and speed up its accession process. Of course, this will not happen. And not because the DP is today in the stage of political bankruptcy before the Albanians, but because the Socialist Party remains the only dignified political force that has the chances and the support of the internationals in the process of Albania's integration into the EU.
Those who look at Berisha as a "Sultan or God", and still believe that "he and only he can bring them from the opposition to power", will soon be convinced that the truth is completely different, as Dash Sula, Dash Shehi, or hundreds and thousands of others who are not part of that party at all today were convinced. To think and believe even today after 34 years that, "with Berisha, the DP will take power", when there are 1001 reasons, starting from the American and British "non-grata", or even the criminal proceedings against him, is the recipient.
And unfortunately there are still fools (unintelligent but also corrupt after having earned millions with Berisha when he was in power) who, even though they are half his age, live and think as if they were hypnotized by Berisha. This is undoubtedly the biggest misfortune of that party.
