Some political commentators in Tirana are throwing theses of an Albanian homologation of the struggle for power in the Kremlin. "Does Prigozhin have allies in Tirana"?, "Who is the Albanian Wagner?", etc., were some of the comments that accompanied the discussions on the logic of the events in Russia.
In fact, it is not a new thing that the events of Russia are homologated with that of Tirana, but this homologation has not happened since 1993. When Boris Yeltsin shot the White House-Parliament of Russia with a cannon, and in Tirana the parties split something with Yeltsin, something with General Lebed.
But at that time the division of the Cold War was still fresh, and their Euro-Atlantic vision was not well articulated in the Albanian opposition.
But today, it seems that the logic of finding an ally of Yevgeny Prigozhin in Tirana is more strained.
Anyway, the question is asked, is it likely that Edi Rama will be overthrown by a political, pre-political or non-political factor within himself as some say, which gives the colors of a coup d'état atmosphere?
It is not at all surprising that there are forces or factors that can rebel against the government, Edi Rama or the majority. But it cannot happen that in a NATO member country, today a political or criminal group overthrows the government in Tirana except for the elections.

As much as it seems like an attractive theory, Albania is a country that can only change power with a political alternative, which if it forms a private army, is declared a terrorist organization before advancing politically.
It's that simple; we are a country that has no connection with Moscow. Even though we can have Prigozhin's societies, they can never come to power.
