In Tirana, Enver Hoxha was a tyrant, but he was not at all afraid to speak openly about the rights of Kosovo.
The truth must always be free in the history of a society or even a people, which is organized into an independent state.
The truth must always be told openly when it is a historical fact. And meanwhile, in our national history, the figure of Enver Hoxha has remained a dilemma between Albania and Kosovo, because the history of Enver Hoxha as a figure is a special case between Kosovo and Albania.
I.
Enver Hoxha was a communist dictator and his criminal dictatorship is now known as clear to us Albanians of Albania; but his extreme nationalism gave a positive effect in the liberation of Kosovo. And this has happened often in history as something normal.
The propaganda rise of Enver Hoxha's personal dictatorship in Albania, due to the fact that it also came as a high rise of the Albanian issue, created the KLA in Kosovo. And with this military formation thrown into the fight, America was given the opportunity to bomb Belgrade and win Kosovo's independence. And this is now the history of our time.
In fact, this is the nature of history in a war, when a people fights for its independence and national identity.
Therefore, we must say that in Kosovo, for its liberation with the figure of Enver Hoxha, pragmatism and not Hoxha's ideology won.
In Tirana, Enver Hoxha was a tyrant, but he was not at all afraid to speak openly about the rights of Kosovo.
For the Albanians of Kosovo, Enver Hoxha was an idol at the time, because he was at the same time an unrestrained anti-Yugoslav and anti-Serb. And he had a powerful radio station that talked about Kosovo and was heard in Kosovo regularly.
And time took its course when his figure as national propaganda created the Kosovo Liberation War and the KLA itself.
This is the historical truth.
And we who were persecuted in Albania by Enver Hoxha, politically said: "In Kosovo, the figure of Enver Hoxha is creating the myth of liberation from Serbia. And this is positive for the history of national unity."
"History, after Kosovo gains its independence, will clarify our truth."
II.
So, this is our history, but this has been the history of oppressed peoples everywhere in the world.
Our history has not yet addressed this historical event and incident regarding the figure of Enver Hoxha, for the national passion that figure received in Kosovo. But do not forget that in Albania too, Enver Hoxha was a national idol until 1990. And of course, history will clearly analyze this issue, according to the doctrine of historical truth.
History thus develops through national wars, idols are raised and then devalued in the course of a nation's history; but history moves forward when it is written with objectivity within the truth and with the positive purpose of the historical formation of national dignity.
Here, in Albania, we were fed up with Enver Hoxha's ultranationalist propaganda, but in Kosovo it had a positive value for its liberation. And this, of course, must be treated with a clear historical vision and with objectivity, because it is true.
Truth and freedom go together, therefore we Albanians in Albania and Kosovo must always stand by the truth.
On this occasion, we must emphasize that our truth of Albanianness has been with us for 500 years, it has thrown us into wars, and now, amidst a sacrifice unprecedented in history, we have created two Albanian states.
And precisely because of this fact of our historical truth, the liberation of Albanians is continuing and will lead to the liberation of all Albanians.
Today, there are two large Albanian provinces that still need to be liberated: North Macedonia and Chameria.
And it is clearly understood that history is moving towards an Albanian identity fully complete with its historical territories.
