All the "vigilant" people, all the communist people, all the investigating people, judges, prosecutors. Today, this people analyzes the decisions of SPAK, the Constitutional GJKKO, but they rarely deal with their troubles and problems, the judges of Strasbourg know.
Although 34 years have passed since the "overthrow" of the communist system, or better to say "socialist", it seems that the only one who does not change his mind, logic, position, and terminology, is the people.
The generation that grew up under the "dictatorship", even today, the generations of yesterday and those of today, have conversations, sentences, reactions, discussions, and everything related to daily life in the "communist" style of speech. The old man talks like a communist, so does his son and grandson, becoming an inseparable and unnecessary complex, in the conditions when the country is getting closer and closer to Europe. It is enough to listen every morning, when they get on the phone on some of the television shows (I don't know why this Albanian invention still continues) how they howl, curse, revive old memories, and give lectures to politicians, ministers, the prime minister, give advice Donald Trump, Kamela Harris, American President Biden, etc., etc. Over 95 percent of the calls to the morning shows are about "concerns" about regional, global, or Asian politics. Nothing about their problems and troubles, their families and children. Tek-tuk, you hear some miner or pensioner asking for more money, and that's it.
But that is not enough. In interviews with citizens, from first to last, the emphasis is on "politics, their names, ministers, the prime minister, the opposition, the war in Gaza and Ukraine, the future of the world" and rarely on their daily problems. . A 50-year-old mindset is unlikely to change easily. I am not saying to forget the past, or the National Liberation War, as they are our history. But for the street sweeper, the loading-unloading worker, the fruit-vegetable seller, or the coachman and the van driver to discuss politics, the names and ministers of the government, and to give "lectures" to the prime minister of the country, this is not right. In the civilized world (and not in the post-communist East) they don't know who is minister X or prime minister Y, since the time of every citizen there is connected to his work, self, family and home. In Albania, in cafes, restaurants, billiards, stadiums, weddings and engagements, everyone deals with politics. They do agitation and propaganda "for you" at all, so much so that fights often break out between "them" and "them".
Only in Albania, the assets of directors, ministers, the prime minister are known, their sisters, brothers, cousins, nephews and nieces are known, and they even deal with the restaurant they run. This actually only happened regularly during the past 45 years. All the "vigilant" people, all the communist people, all the investigating people, judges, prosecutors. Today, this people analyzes the decisions of the SPAK, the Constitutional GJKKO, but they rarely deal with their troubles and problems, they know the judges of Strasbourg, they even know the presidents of the commissions of the European Parliament. And they remember their troubles, when their bread cupboard is empty, or when they run out of money in their wallets. But what remains "spicy" is the fact that, even when they have no money in their pockets, they still find time to enter into discussions about domestic and global politics.. This is our people, brave, a little hardworking, and very policy makers.
