After this, we expect the start of a conflict of the proportions that a war has within it: from frontal warfare, to guerrilla warfare, hybrid warfare, and sabotage."
Today, on the most important day of the inauguration of the Rama 4 government, we saw the announcement of two red lines by the majority and the opposition.
The majority said it and did it. It stopped and declared that it would stop the verbal theatrics and physical fighting in the hall of the Albanian Parliament. And it did it on the first day of the official start of the new legislature.
"Any action like in the past will make the session last as long as a voting process," Rama said.
And it happened. After that, where there were some throwing of brochures and some bottles of water, we had two statements from Sali Berisha. The first was "a caldo", where he considered Edi Rama a villain.
So a strong stance, as Sali Berisha knows how to do. The second, which was that official at the DP headquarters, was clearer: "We consider Edi Rama's decision a declaration of war."
After this, we expect the start of a conflict of the proportions that a war has within it: from frontal warfare, to guerrilla warfare, hybrid warfare, and sabotage."
A strong stance, which if Berisha sticks to, will involve a series of measures that no longer have anything to do with a normal relationship between the government and the opposition. But with a season of fierce conflicts, where the parties will sometimes attack and sometimes defend themselves, with means that today, new technology has brought with it in abundance.
Edi Rama implemented what he said, now we must wait for Sali Berisha to take his step. But on the other hand, the question naturally arises; why did Sali Berisha call the ultimate demand of the majority that the verbal obstruction in the Assembly should be ended a declaration of war?
There are likely several reasons for this, and it naturally seems that Berisha's opposition was not prepared for the change in the majority's strategy, so it was ready to install the old plaque, which Rama has often called "La Voce del Padrone".
Then, the main reason for the approach that Rama has declared war on is precisely the "right of citizenship" that the opposition thinks it has to disrupt every session, turning it into a "fight club."
In reality, we are dealing with a welded logic, where as experience has shown, Sali Berisha is a "conservative" and does not change his behavior. Which means that perhaps the opposition, namely the DP, does not have a backup plan other than what it knows how to do best and has been trained for these 13 years.
However, it seems that we are dealing with a new development. Edi Rama has today taken a new step, throwing down the gauntlet of a challenge to Sali Berisha. In general, he has let him understand that he should leave this stale game and invent something new, as he has no intention of following the crowd.
But it is very likely that this can be understood differently. Namely, he has made it known that we will no longer allow a hybrid game of an opposition that is neither meat nor fish. Either a normal opposition that respects the parliamentary game, or "take the mountains", that is, switch to a radical position. If it is the latter, we are dealing with a high-level provocation, which Sali Berisha has probably understood this way too.
If the “final phase of the revolution” occurs, then there is no way and no possibility for a middle phase: namely, “either today or never” it must be done or die. And this is really a tough game. For the majority, there is not much chance, although it is not comfortable, but for the opposition it is like breaking a stone in the Lushnja show.
