Why can't Gaz Bardhi block the DP elections?

The obstacle that Bardhi threatens to do is simply a whim or his action that has nothing to do with PD. And here the leadership should meet to decide what to do with the people who obstruct the processes in the Democratic Party...

With the departure of Enkelejd Alibeaj, who had been commanded by the Presidency of the DP to lead the party and the parliamentary group, this role fell to Gazment Bardhi.

Who with almost the same formula was appointed regent, but only that. You also left the direction of the parliamentary group, a post that Alibeaj had when he came to head the DP as a subordinate, he announced that all the decisions that will be made are part of the daily operations, while everything will go after local elections of 2023.

Here came the 2023 elections, where, as you know, we had the goose that we had. Enkelejd Alibeaj resigned, announcing that now a new phase begins in the Democratic Party, that of its revival. Guardian of this process, even from logic but also from the concept of statutory pragmatism, was left to Gazment Bardhi.

As a rule, Bardhi should simply organize, monitor, organize and curate the entire process of elections in DP.

But what is White doing? It is aiming to establish rules according to itself, even opposing the decisions of the DP leadership. The Presidency is the body that has functioned, for better or worse, as it happened before May 14, when at the insistence of Bardhi, Tabaku and some others, it was decided not to run in the 61 municipalities. And as the chairmanship took this decision that benefits Bardhi, who has even campaigned against the DP, he also took the decision to open the election of the party's chairman.

But Bardhi is turning the debate into a logic according to him, that is, since he is the regent, he will not allow the presidency to open the election process. How is it possible for this to happen, when the candidacies for MPs or even mayors have always been approved by the leadership of the DP. Decision that was executive, since those candidacies were then sent to the CEC as official.

Meanwhile, the steps of the process of electing the new president of the DP are not executive decisions, but simply a statutory orientation on the time and place when the elections should be held. What is the connection here with the national council, which is a power completely opposite to the president. Because the council is legislative, i.e. it adopts the rules, and the mayor applies them on a daily basis. The elections will not be conducted by the chairmanship, as the statute of the DP has foreseen bodies that will deal with the process. Which are the election commission of the DP and the branches. The National Council has a conflict of interest in dealing with the election of the president. The council elects the presidency, which deals with operations.

The obstacle that Bardhi threatens to do is simply a whim or his action that has nothing to do with PD. And here the leadership should meet to decide what to do with the people who obstruct the processes in the Democratic Party.
