In the history of Albania, there is no second case when an entire family is taken as a defendant.
Three or four years ago, the infamous former prosecutor of the communist regime, Rrapi Mino, confessed in a long interview about his life and career. The man who led the firing squad with dozens or hundreds of innocent people did not feel guilty, but a victim. "To tell the truth, I feel sorry for all those human disasters, but I reserve to say sorry, because, after all, I have followed the law and only the law, even with the greatest correctness, what the Criminal Code provided for word for word," he said.
In the history of mankind, the most heinous crimes have been committed precisely in the name of the law. Even Hitler's "Final Solution" for the extermination of the Jews in the Holocaust was made by law. Because in times of folly the law is a piece of paper, which turns into a hammer in the hands of those who have seized it.
Two days ago, SPAK closed another fraction of the Elbasan incinerator's fragmented file by communicating the new charges for the persons suspected of being involved. According to the file submitted to the court, it turns out that the dangerous mafia organization that conceived, implemented and cleaned the crime money of the incinerators is the family of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.
The latter in the role of the ruler without any signature in the procedure has made it possible to deceive the government and especially the innocent prime minister in good faith to approve the concession. While the stolen money was later cleaned by Ahmetaj's ex-wife and current partner.
In the history of Albania, there is no second case when an entire family is taken as a defendant. Even the popular justice of Enver Hoxha had a criminal policy and usually in the families that were persecuted, some member was left as an example of the generosity of the Party. And here Rrapi Mino has every right to be jealous, and even to feel amateur because even his hammer could not have been as big as the one that put Albina Mançka under accusation. Not with direct evidence, but with indirect accusations.
Mrs. Mançka, the ex-wife of Arben Ahmetaj, is accused of having bought a villa in Palasa, even though the owner of the villa and the person who paid the money to the bank from Switzerland is another person, a friend of Mrs. Mançka. The same accusation is more or less for the current partner of Ahmetaj Erjola Hoxha for her villa in Gjirin e Lalzi. in this case, the villa was once commissioned by Klodian Zoto, although he never paid any money for it. Then it was bought by another businessman, who sold it to Mrs. Hoxha. But SPAK indirectly connects the two villas to the incinerators.
However, whether the indirect allegations stand or not is of little consequence. The scrupulous SPAK prosecutors must first clarify why they followed different standards in another case, for the same file. According to SPAK, the family members of a former high official were directly involved in receiving the incinerators' money. Directly, not indirectly and with claims as in the case of Ahmetaj's wives. But they were never charged, except for the former official who is serving his sentence today.
At least Rrapi Mino was more honest on this point. Nobody needs political justice or the one with milk. Above all, SPAK itself. And putting Ms. Mançka under accusation is not a scrupulous application of the law, but a stain of shame. Now see that Ahmetaj also has an elderly mother. Perhaps she also had a role in the dangerous mafia organization. Find something for her too. By law like Plantain.
