Berisha's exasperation of the opposition

In fact, from all this energy spent on machinations within the former PD, the fact stands out that the only one who is in charge of keeping the PD separated is Berisha, and not through open and principled battles behind the scenes like this...

Today, Sali Berisha held a meeting with the deputies who support him and asked them to commit themselves so that Gazmend Bardhi has the opportunity to organize a meeting on Thursday to be considered as a meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party. It is about a meeting with former members of this Council who are now with Berisha, to legitimize the Assembly of Basha's election.

There are some hesitations from the deputies who support Berisha. Their first condition was to recognize Berisha as president. Others, less servile, have expressed doubts that support for Bardhi and Tabak will depress the democrats since Bardhi has sued Berisha's party.

But Berisha has been adamant in his demand that both of them should be supported at all costs, as long as they join his group.

In fact, from all this energy spent on machinations within the former PD, the fact stands out that the only one who is in charge of keeping the PD separated is Berisha, and not through open and principled battles behind the scenes like this.

I mean Berisha is ready to lend members of his National Council, to the two MPs that he still does not have in his group, in order for them to make a public gesture against Basha and after that he will take them and reward them within his group in the hope that the majority of the parliamentary group will do the same, since they have 5 other MPs behind them.

This exhaustion of numbers, behind the scenes, betrayals, disgusting loyalties, and above all this attempt to continue the public shaming of the opposition by Berisha himself explains everything about what he is to the opposition and why it cannot raise its head, until he will treat it as his own commodity.

Let's assume for a moment that Berisha will do all this. Even Bardhi will hold a meeting, and then he will join Berisha, and Luli will be elected chairman, and each of them will have a seal, and they will give another seal to Berisha... In the end, all this produces more despair in the opposition than if each of them had done it from a party.

The only thing that makes sense is for Bardhi to go to Berisha's party as its leader, eliminating Berisha as the cause of the division of the opposition, and then continue the battle against Basha for separation or union with him.

But the transition from Basha's subordinate to Berisha's subordinate shows more the nightmare that Bërisha has from Lulzim Basha than the value that Basha's former subordinates have for Berisha.

Berisha loves the clear field in the opposition and has realized that Basha and his supporters, as many as they are, do not open a way for him. Therefore, it is in the battle to politically compromise every corner that has been supportive of Basha, making such bargains, with the aim, that they have no future in politics, burning them as worthless politicians.

In this respect, he may succeed in burning Bardhi, Tabak and others behind them, making them dirty at the end of the battle, and even reducing Luli, but again he cannot clear the field of anti-Berishism. He has no problem with Lulzim Basha. I can trade with that too. He has a problem with 30 percent of today's opposition, which Berisha can neither hide nor erase. As they do not want anything in return. They want Berisha to leave.
