Votes of immigrants, the last hope of the opposition?

For the next parliamentary elections, the opposition has the same hope for balancing the SP's superiority here with an opposition superiority among immigrants.

Before the last Himara elections, the opposition's hope for victory depended on the arrival of immigrants to vote. Because the SP had demonstrated its superiority among the local voters of Himara Municipality. Thus, in the April 2021 elections (when the borders were closed due to the pandemic), the SP received over 59% of the votes in the territory of the Himar Municipality.

And on August 4 (when the borders were open), her candidate received almost 59% of the vote. So the immigrants who came from abroad to vote could not change the ratio of votes here. (The opposition has raised claims for 6,000 expired identity cards, but their holders have not even bothered to renew them, let alone come to Himara to vote.)

For the next parliamentary elections, the opposition has the same hope for balancing the SP's superiority here with an opposition superiority among immigrants.

Thus, only 500,000 local voters voted for the mayor candidates of Berisha-Meta. While for those of Rama, 800,000 voted.

This superiority of the SP can be balanced only if DP+allies have a lead of 300,000 votes among those who will vote by mail from abroad.

But how many of the 1.7 million overseas voters might be interested in voting by mail?

From an analysis I published after the approval of voting by mail from abroad, I found that only 600 thousand voters abroad (approximately) are interested in following the developments here regularly. So they can take the trouble to register and mail in their vote.

And for the opposition to hope for victory, it must receive the overwhelming majority of the votes of these 600 thousand who probably vote...
