GJKKO has left Marklen Haka in prison, arrested two days ago as part of the "Revanshi" operation.
The Special Court has decided the security measure "Arrest with prison" for Marklen Haka alias Marklen Aliu, suspected of several serious criminal offences.
During the session with closed doors, Haka denied the accusations, claiming that he did not participate in the assassination of Durim Bami. He has also claimed that he has nothing to do with any of the prosecution's charges and has not used a phone with the Sky app.
We remind you that the 33-year-old man was arrested on Friday in the area of Nikla in Fushë-Kruje after he was wanted in May during the coded operation "Revanshi" where 50 arrest warrants were signed for the heads of organized crime in the country.
Marklen Haka is accused of attempted murder with premeditation against Durim Bami and also collaborated with other people for the murder of former MP Arben Ndoka.
There have been several assassination attempts against Haka, the most serious being the one on September 21, 2019 where his aunt lost her life. At that time, a Kalashnikov was fired in the direction of Marklen Haka's apartment.
Who is Marklen Haka?
Marklen Haka is a well-known name for justice. In January 2020, Marklen Haka was arrested by RENEA forces during an operation spread across several cities in the country. He was arrested as a suspect for 3 criminal offences: "Production and sale of narcotics", "Unauthorized possession of combat weapons and ammunition" and "Crime avoidance", but his freedom would be limited to only a few days. The prosecution could not substantiate these charges and he was released by the court.
He was previously arrested for a murder that occurred in June 2011 in the area of the former Block in Tirana, but was released due to lack of evidence. In September 2019, Haka escaped an assassination attempt at the door of his house, where his aunt, Shpresa Basha, was left dead.
On June 8, 2022, he escaped another assassination attempt, at the entrance to Nikël village in Fushë-Kruje, but received a bullet in the jaw.
