The members of the organizations discovered that some of them were of Romanian origin as well as of Albanian origin.
After an operation carried out by the Greek police, six criminal groups were hit, where according to the Greek media, at least 50 people were arrested, while hundreds of others involved in criminal activities were identified by the authorities.
During the investigations, it was found that these criminal groups are involved in robbery and drug trafficking.
The members of the organizations discovered that some of them were of Romanian origin as well as of Albanian origin. One of the identified groups consists of 34 Albanians.
While the financial benefit of these criminal organizations is thought to reach 1.4 million euros in profits.
This action revealed the trafficking of more than 16.5 kg of cannabis, 1.5 kg of cocaine and other drugs, with a total of 4187 substance transactions.
Over 480 thefts from tourists and citizens, within Public Transport and in places of tourist interest, as well as 120 thefts from inside cars.
