Another life taken in road accidents. "Corriere Della Sera" writes that shortly after 10 o'clock this morning, a truck driven by a 25-year-old Albanian collided at high speed with a stopped truck on the A22 highway, in the area between the Veronese municipality of Nogarole Rocca and the payment area in Mantoa in the north. The young man of Albanian origin, who lived in Pisa, died on the spot, as the cab of the truck was completely crushed.
It took intervention to extract the young man from the truck, who failed despite efforts to revive him.
According to preliminary data, the truck in front had stopped due to a collision caused by another accident. A large truck overturned around 6.20am and blocked traffic. Operations to move the trailer lasted until 8:22 a.m. at which time one lane was reopened to allow traffic to flow. At 9:40 another closure occurred, this time to clear the road from the trailer. Betrayed by the rain and poor visibility, the young Albanian did not notice the prohibited cars and hit with all his might at the end of the line.
