A bomb alarm caused panic today at the "Turgut Ozal" school.
Regarding this incident, the police explain that the alarm was raised after an email stating that a bomb had been placed in the premises of this school that would explode in 43 minutes.
"On 21.02.2025, at around 11:30, a notification was received that an e-mail written in English had arrived at the address of a private school in the Misto-Mame area, stating that a bomb had been placed on the school premises, which would explode in 43 minutes.
Police services and the Anti-Explosive Unit immediately went to the scene where they evacuated the students and school staff.
The relevant checks and verifications continue to be carried out if the notification is false.
"Police services, Anti-Terror structures in cooperation with specialists for the Investigation of Cybercrime are working to clarify the circumstances and identify the perpetrators ," the police announced.
