The Durrës Court has granted the security measure for Armando Sulejmani, otherwise known as Çipuri, part of the Gaxhai gang in Vlora.
The Durrës court has validated the arrest of the former member of the Gaxhai gang, Amarildo Sulejmani from Vlora, and set as a coercive measure the arrest in prison for a period of 2 months.
Judge Shpëtime Pitaku assessed this period as sufficient for the prosecution to document the charge brought against him for vehicle theft.
Sulejmani was arrested 3 days ago in Spitalle in Durrës with a vehicle with stolen license plates, while he disobeyed the order to stop the police and tried to leave quickly.
Armando Sulejmani is not an unknown name for the Police. The 48-year-old from Vlora, known otherwise and with the nickname "Chipuri", was assassinated in May 2016, at the entrance of his apartment in the neighborhood "Pavarësia" in Vlora.
He was shot with 11 bullets, but fortunately escaped as only one bullet hit him in the arm.
"Chipuri" is known as a member of the Gaxhai gang, accused of their conflicts with the Llanaj family. Llanajt and Gaxhajt have a saga of revenge and criminal events between them, until in 2015, the Çola massacre happened, where 3 young people were killed after a fight in the casino. One of those arrested for the massacre is Aleksandër Llanaj, the brother of Ferdinand Llanaj. Ferdinand was assassinated by a mafia in 2017 and the main suspect was Armando Sulejmani.
Meanwhile, Sulejman was assassinated in February 2019, where Sulejman's brother-in-law Aurest Rexho and Arjan Hasani, the 48-year-old's close friend, were killed.
