The Customs Branch in Rinas has blocked 920 electronic devices of the "Apple" and "Samsung" brands, including 510 mobile phones of various types, due to suspicions of intellectual property violations.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of Customs, the equipment was seized during checks carried out by customs structures.
"Following continuous controls for compliance with legality, the Rinas Customs Branch has blocked 920 "Apple" and "Samsung" electronic devices, of which 510 mobile phones of various types, on suspicion of violating intellectual property. Customs structures continue further verification of the case.
"The General Directorate of Customs is fully committed, with all its structures, to blocking any attempt at abuse or violation of the law," the official press release states.
Meanwhile, customs structures are continuing verifications to clarify the circumstances and origin of the blocked equipment.
