Yasir Asani has ended his adventure with Esteghlal. The Albanian national team striker has decided to terminate his contract with the Iranian club and is now a free agent.
Asani's decision comes after ongoing financial problems, as Esteghlal failed to pay last season's fees to the Albanian player. The 31-year-old has informed the club of his departure through an official letter, thus closing an important chapter in his career.
