The director of the Dibër Regional Hospital, Irini Shehu, has been dismissed after raping the finance chief. Meanwhile, Astrit Ademi has been appointed in her place.
On February 11, the Director of the Dibra Hospital was put under investigation after she was suspected of hitting the hospital's Chief of Finance with a hard object in the face. It was the latter who referred the case to the Dibra police.
"The citizen with the initials Sh.U., 37 years old, resident of Peshkopi, reported that in the hospital premises, after a verbal conflict, he was hit in the face with a hard object by I.Sh., 44 years old, resident of Peshkopi, Director of the Dibër Regional Hospital. At the end of the first investigative actions, the Crime Investigation Specialists of the Dibër Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen I.Sh., suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Intentional minor injury ", the police announced.
