After the arrest of 43-year-old Gerald Shehu, who is suspected of being the author of the kidnapping and subsequent execution of the 31-year-old receptionist in Dhërmi, his vehicle was also found.
The car with English registration, which belongs to the 43-year-old author, was found abandoned in the city of Saranda. It is suspected that Shehu used the car to flee towards Greece and to hide his tracks.
It is not yet known if traces of blood were found inside the car, which could prove that the 43-year-old used his vehicle to remove the body from the hotel.
We remind you that the serious event is thought to have happened around 00:30 and it is suspected that the perpetrator shot the 31-year-old in one of the hotel rooms and then disappeared the body, which the police are still looking for.
There are two preliminary tracks of the investigation, one for a banal momentary conflict and the other for prior acquaintance and involvement in illegal activities in England where both the victim and the perpetrator lived and worked.
