The mother of the 31-year-old Albanian Lorela Kapaj, who was imprisoned after being part of a network that prostituted minor girls, has spoken to the Greek media and has denied her daughter's involvement in the activity for which she is accused.
"Everybody knows her, she's not involved. She has never been involved in such affairs. The girl worked, worked. He worked two jobs to survive. I had a heart attack, I'm stuck. She has never harmed anyone.
I hope the truth comes out. She has worked since she was little. With the money paid by the eyelashes, she paid the teacher she had for her child. Of course he would have money if he did all that. I'm telling you, he didn't do anything. I saw the 17-year-old coming for eyelashes and not only her. Girls came to apply eyelashes. My daughter did not hurt anyone ", said Lorela Kapaj's mother.
We remind you that a total of five people have been arrested for the network of tutors of minor girls in Attica, while the Police made two more arrests on Monday, January 15.
It is about a 26-year-old woman, who is accused of regularly prostitution of a minor, and a 64-year-old man, who is accused of "sexual acts with a minor who has reached the age of 15 against payment".
The 26-year-old is suspected of making appointments for a 17-year-old girl, whom she accompanied to "clients", while the 64-year-old is accused of having sexual relations with two minors, 15 and 17 years old.
A key role in the network was played by a 31-year-old named "Lorela", who since the beginning of 2022 had established a friendly relationship with a 15-year-old and helped her find "clients", receiving a percentage of the fees .
The 31-year-old, mother of a minor child, was arrested at her home in Kolonos, where some of her neighbors had noticed the "strange" contacts she had with schoolgirls in the area. On January 16, "Lorela" was left in prison temporarily.
The second person arrested last week is a 34-year-old woman, a friend of "Lorela". The 34-year-old woman, from the middle of April 2023, came into contact with the aforementioned minor and a 17-year-old friend of hers at that time, proposing to facilitate their search, finding rich clients "for sexual meetings paid", while photographing them in their underwear, posting the photos on a website through which at least 10 romantic meetings were booked and carried out in various hotels in central Athens. And the 34-year-old woman has been remanded in custody.
