A Serbian citizen accused by the German justice authorities of being a member of a criminal group that forged documents and embezzled stolen goods is extradited to Germany.
Following cooperation with similar structures in other countries, for the localization, capture and extradition of internationally wanted citizens, Interpol Tirana has extradited 2 internationally wanted citizens, specifically:
- as a result of cooperation with Interpol Rome, Albanian citizen Paulin Simoni, 39 years old, was extradited to Albania. This citizen was declared an international wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 15.04.2022, sentenced him to 3 years and 8 months in prison, for the criminal offenses "Forgery of documents ", "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms", "Usage of land" and "Cleaning of the proceeds of criminal offences".
The citizen Paulin Simoni, in cooperation with other citizens, has committed illegal actions by falsifying property documents and ownership forms, in order to alienate properties on the coast of Lezha.
- as a result of cooperation with Interpol Wiesbaden, the 50-year-old Serbian citizen was extradited to Germany.
This citizen was declared an international wanted by Interpol Wiesbaden, after the Regional Court of Ravensburg, with the decision dated 17.08.2023, issued an international arrest warrant for the criminal offenses "Forgery of documents" and "Acquisition of stolen goods", committed more than once, in the form of a criminal group, provided by the German Penal Code", the police announced.
