
A day after the murder of 57-year-old Pjetër Kaza in Tale, Lezha, the incident continues to remain unsolved.
Over the course of 24 hours, the police have escorted and questioned over 10 people, but their testimonies have not helped identify the perpetrator or shed light on the motive for the crime.
Meanwhile, security cameras from businesses and homes in a wide area have been seized and are being analyzed by the investigation team in an attempt to identify the movements of the perpetrator or perpetrators before and after the incident.
Sources close to the investigators indicate that the main lead on which the investigation is focusing is that of revenge, while referring to the forensic expertise, the victim was shot with two bullets - one in the head and one in the chest.
It is suspected that a silenced gun was used in his murder, as witnesses in the area did not hear gunshots at the time of the crime.
Investigations continue on other leads, while police forces are still in the area searching for any evidence to solve the incident.
