
The border police of Montenegro have seized about 129 kg of marijuana on the Albanian-Montenegro border in Godinje, municipality of Tivar.
According to sources, the border police checked the area in the city of Godinja and found a car with Podgorica license plates in which there was a bag and two bags.
"By undertaking further measures and actions in accordance with the law, in cooperation with the employees of the "South" Regional Security Center, the Security Department of Tivari, it was established that in the bag and bags in question there are 129 packages with contents that are suspected to be marijuana narcotics, with a total weight of 128.8 kilograms.
The prosecutor at the High State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has been notified of the incident. In continuation of further activities, the employees of the Sector for the fight against crime in cooperation with the officers of the Border Police Sector have undertaken measures and actions with the aim of determining and identifying the persons who participated in the smuggling and transportation of these narcotics", says police.
