The High Court has upheld the sentences against Emiljano Shullazi and members of his criminal group, dismissing the appeals filed by them against the GJKKO Appeals decision.
The decision was made by a panel of judges composed of Ilir Panda, Genti Shala and Enton Dhimitri, who confirmed the convictions for the criminal offenses of "fine-fixing" and "structured criminal group".
According to the final verdict, Emiljano Shullazi will serve 14 years in prison. Endrit Qyqja and Endrit Zela were sentenced to 10 years in prison each, while Blerim Shullazi's sentence of 9 years in prison was upheld.
For Gilmando Dani, the Supreme Court decided not to accept the recourse because he has passed away.
Dani was executed in a mafia assassination in November 2025 near the Rinas roundabout, an event in which AMP officer Mustafa Sheqeri was also killed.
Meanwhile, Emiljano Shullazi continues to be under investigation by SPAK in two other criminal proceedings, known as operations "Nothing is Forgotten" and "Revanshi".
