
A 48-year-old man who stole an amount of 60,000 lek from a store and allegedly attempted to have sexual intercourse with the saleswoman has been declared wanted by the Saranda police.
The blue uniforms indicate that the event occurred the day before (May 2).
Jorgo Kumaraku, wearing a surgical mask and hat, went to the store where he also committed the robbery at knifepoint, during which the saleswoman's hand was slightly injured.
It is learned that after the robbery, the police identified the perpetrator from another camera on the street he described, while the 26-year-old woman, through a photo that the police showed her, claimed it was exactly him.
The perpetrator has previously been arrested for violently robbing a woman at a bank ATM.
"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor's Office and declared citizen JK, 48 years old, wanted, after yesterday, in a store in neighborhood no. 2, Saranda, it is suspected that under the threat of a cutting tool (knife), he violently stole an amount of 60,000 lek from the store's saleswoman, 26 years old, who as a result suffered physical injuries. It is also suspected that he attempted to have sexual intercourse with her by force. Intensive work continues to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator", the police informed today.
