A highly dangerous person was arrested today in Lezha.
Jetmir Llanaj has been arrested by the police.
Llanaj is suspected of imposing fines on businesses. Jetmir Llanaj has been in prison for murder, after avenging the murder of his 9-year-old son, Indrit Llanaj.
Jetmir Llanaj was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the first instance, but the Appeals Court reduced it, while it is learned that he has served his sentence for several months and is currently at large.
The event of July 5, 2012
The clash that occurred on June 5 of this year between the Shkreta and Llanaj families, where Indrit Llani was killed, would also start the enmity between the two tribes.
Jetmir Llanaj lost his young son, Indriti, while his brother was injured when the boy, along with his brother, cousin, mother and uncle, were traveling by car on the afternoon of June 5.
Brothers Altin and Vladimir Shkreta are accused of having stepped in front of the car and opened fire with automatic weapons. A few days later, the police arrested the perpetrators, while on July 19, bullets took the life of Mark Shkreta, 71 years old, the father of brothers Altin and Vladimir.
The murder was recorded on Hoxha Tahsim Street in Tirana and the police accused Jetmir as the suspected perpetrator.
Jetmir and his brother Muharrem Llani were each sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Jetmir was also suspected of the assassination attempt in the village of Shpërdhet in Fushë Mamurras, against Gentian and Emanuel Shkreta, the sons of the executed 71-year-old Mark Shkreta. The incident occurred in November 2012, and Gentian Shkreta lost his life.
