
A 31-year-old woman was arrested by the Police in Tirana after she fraudulently took 10,000 euros from a citizen with the promise that she would send it to Canada.
Her accomplice is also wanted.

They took 10,000 euros from a citizen, by means of fraud, the 31-year-old woman is put in handcuffs, her accomplice is wanted.
Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, after a report by a citizen, about a case of obtaining money through fraud, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "The Promise", as a result of which the arrest of citizen A. Ll., 31 years old, and citizen S. Gj., 34 years old, both residents of Tirana, were declared wanted.
These two citizens, in cooperation with each other, allegedly took the sum of 10,000 euros from the citizen B. Gj., 49 years old, a resident of Malësi i Madhe, promising that they would help him go to Canada.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the Police announced.
