Tirana police have seized 4 vehicles worth 200 thousand euros, which were suspected to have been stolen in Europe and intended to be sold in Albania.
During the "Stolen Line" operation, two people were arrested, while two others were declared wanted, who are suspected of being the owners of stolen vehicles in Italy, the USA and Germany.
"As a result of the investigative work to crack down on the illegal activity of trafficking luxury vehicles, they have identified and referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office in charge of the citizens, specifically:
-Criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen S. C, who is suspected of having trafficked a "Jeep" vehicle with the intention of selling it in Albania, which turned out to be stolen in Italy;
-Criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen E. Ç, who is suspected of having trafficked a "Range Rover" vehicle with the intention of selling it in Albania, which turned out to be stolen in America;
- they declared citizen EJ wanted, who is suspected of having trafficked a "BMW" vehicle with the intention of selling it in Albania, which turned out to be stolen in Germany;
- they declared citizen RR wanted, who is suspected of having trafficked a "Seat Cupra" vehicle with the intention of selling it in Albania, which turned out to be stolen in Italy;
"The four vehicles, worth around 200,000 euros, were seized as material evidence," the Police announced.
