Arrested for attempted robbery, 41-year-old dies in prison; initial suspicions

A 41-year-old man, who was isolated in the security block at Mine Peza, after being arrested for attempted theft, was found dead in his cell.

The incident occurred on Friday morning.

"On 20.03.2026, at around 05:45, on "Mine Peza" street, at the Security Block, citizen BP, 41 years old, arrested on 18.03.2026 for the criminal offense of "Attempted Theft", died, suspected of natural causes.
