The Greek police have managed to arrest in Dhiavata of Thessaloniki, wanted by Interpol Tirana, Adriatik Xhini, 32 years old from Ksamil.

According to the Greek police, Xhini was wanted in Albania for the criminal offense of "drug trafficking in collaboration", during the period April 1, 2019 - April 23, 2020.

On April 1, 2019, he was declared wanted by the Saranda police after seizing a bag with 22 kg of marijuana on the Albanian-Greek border, in the place called "Likojani" in Konispol.

During that operation, two transporters were arrested from Bërzhita of Tirana and Police of Librazhdi, while Xhini and citizen DA were declared wanted.

Djinn was arrested in 2018 by the Saranda police as part of the "Transfer" operation, where 4 people were arrested after finding 7 doses of cocaine and suspicions that this group was related to an amount of 18 kg of marijuana found in Ksamil , but was later released by the Court of Saranda.

Djini was previously sentenced by the Court of Saranda in 2013 and 2014 to 13 months in prison for "resisting a police officer", "intentional slight injury", "destruction of property", "driving without a license", meanwhile that during the arrest in 2015 as wanted for this sentence, a metal glove, considered a cold weapon, was also found.

Even in 2012, he was arrested, after being wanted, again for an injury committed in Ksamil.

The Greek police have started the procedures for his extradition to Albania.
