The Civil Guard of Salamanca in Spain, as part of the "Kubea" operation, hit a criminal group that was committing forced robberies in apartments.
The perpetrators, a man and a woman aged 40 and 23, both of Albanian nationality, were involved in a total of 29 robberies committed in the provinces of Salamanca, Valladolid and Leon.
The arrest was made when members of the group left a hotel near Avenue Filiberto Villalobos in the capital Tormes, after carrying out several robberies in the province in the previous days.
Agents seized various jewelry and objects of interest to the investigations related to the recent crimes.
The operation was coded "Kubeja", as there had been complaints against them, the most recent of which was a violent robbery against a family.
The arrest was made on October 3, but was confirmed and published yesterday by local media, when members of the group left a hotel near Avenue Filiberto Villalobos in the capital Tormes, after having committed several robberies in the province.
"Agents found various jewelry and objects of interest to the investigation related to the recent crimes. The investigation began last June, by agents of the Judicial Police Unit in Salamanca, when the group committed robberies in the municipalities of Carrascal de Barregas (Peñasolana), Santa Marta de Tormes (Valdelagua) and Carbajosa de la Sagrada (Albahonda)," write the media of the foreigner.
According to the investigations so far, the accused used several vehicles with which they circulated and carried out raids or transporting stolen items. The scheme was clear, in order not to be noticed by the police, they tracked and stayed for several days near the targets and after the raids returned to their home in Valencia.
