
The British police have hit another group of Albanians, after they had turned an abandoned old people's home into a cannabis farm.
West Yorkshire Police executed a drugs warrant at Moorfield House on Monday.
Officers found cannabis plants with an estimated street value of around £450,000, the force said. Six Albanian citizens were arrested at the scene and then accused of cannabis production.
Altior Deda, 30, Edison Markeci, 21, Augustin Marku, 36, Ali Qerfozi, 41, and Andi Teta, 32, all of Moorfield House, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. They will appear at Leeds Crown Court on January 5.
