
A 53-year-old man has been arrested by the Vlora police, while two other people have been criminally prosecuted, suspected of selling narcotics.
According to the police, citizen BL, 53 years old, resident of North Macedonia, was arrested in flagrante delicto. While for citizens AI, 31 years old, resident of Vlora, and KA, 27 years old, resident of Berat, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated.
The Macedonian citizen is suspected of having rented an apartment in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, which he used to hide and prepare narcotics, specifically cocaine and cannabis, in small quantities for sale.
During the search of this apartment, where two other young men were also found, the police seized quantities of suspected narcotics, an electronic scale, and three mobile phones, which were taken as material evidence.
"Following the intensive work to prevent and crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Vlora Police Department, after having obtained information about a case of drug sales in the city of Vlora, have organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrators.
As a result of rapid investigative and procedural actions, 3 citizens were identified who collaborated in this criminal activity.
Following the actions in the case:
-citizen BL, 53 years old, resident of North Macedonia, was arrested in flagrante delicto;
-the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens AI, 31 years old, resident of Vlora and KA, 27 years old, resident of Berat.
Macedonian citizen BL is suspected of having adapted his rented apartment, in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, for the concealment and preparation of the narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, in small quantities for sale.
During the search of this apartment, where the other 2 citizens were also arrested, quantities of suspected narcotics, Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, 1 electronic scale and 3 mobile phones were found, which were seized as material evidence.
The procedural materials were referred to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics," the police statement said.
