
Eight Albanians have been sentenced to prison in the United Kingdom, accused of cultivating a large amount of cannabis.
According to foreign media, the Albanians who were sentenced by the Caernarfon court were caught during a mega-operation in the Welsh city of Rhyl.
The young Albanians had transformed some houses into premises suitable for the cultivation of cannabis.
During the checks in these apartments the authorities found various amounts of cannabis, with a total value of 2.5 million pounds.
The convicted Albanians are:
Oltian Salla, 34, of Warstone Lane, Birmingham four years in prison
Shpëtim Kapo, 24, of Toën Fields, Doncaster, was jailed for three years and eight months
Aranit Kapo, 22, of Manor Oak Gardens, Sheffield, was jailed for three years and four months
Ardit Lici, 27, of Oëler Lane, Sheffield, nine months in prison
Edison Cela, 28, of Oëler Lane, Sheffield, nine months in prison
Ronaldo Hazizi, 25, of Catherine Avenue, Doncaster to six months in prison
Besim Kalemi, 23, of Wincobank Avenue, Sheffield, to six months in prison
Hasan Hajdari, 20, of Queen Street, Rhyl four months in prison
