Who encouraged Ermela Muhametaj to commit suicide? Italian authorities have

Italian media have raised doubts over the death of Ermela Muhametaj, a 27-year-old Albanian woman who was found dead on the evening of April 28 in the town of Larino, Italy. Local media initially reported that the 27-year-old, mother of an 8-year-old son, had committed suicide.

But as the investigation deepened, new details have surfaced that raise suspicions that the young Albanian woman was incited by someone to commit the serious act of suicide.

On the day of the incident, the 27-year-old had written a message to her lawyer in the morning to schedule a meeting regarding her divorce from her husband, with whom she had been living at a distance for months.

"The initial hypothesis is that of suicide, but in the village doubts and questions are growing: no one believes that a mother so attached to her son could have decided to leave him. The prosecution is investigating for incitement to suicide. The results of the autopsy are pending, scheduled for May 2," Italian media report.

"Can we meet in the studio today?" This is the message that Ermela Muhametaj, the 27-year-old of Albanian origin found dead in the Larino area on the evening of April 28, had sent early in the morning to her lawyer who had been representing her and her husband in divorce proceedings.

Shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday, Ermela - the mother of an almost eight-year-old child - asked the criminal lawyer for a meeting to talk, apparently, about the separation from her husband, with whom she lived at a distance.

Meanwhile, investigators are awaiting the dismantling of her phone and autopsy analyses in order to shed more light on the incident.
