A 21-year-old man has been declared wanted in Lushnje, after police discovered a firearm in his jacket during a raid on a bar in the city.
According to the data, the Police services intervened in a bar-cafe in the "Xhevdet Nepravishta" neighborhood, where the presence of an armed person was suspected. During the search, a pistol with combat ammunition was found in the pocket of a sweatshirt left on a chair at a table where five young people were sitting.
The investigative actions made it possible to identify the owner of the sweatshirt and the weapon, citizen Marlind Sulo, 21 years old, resident of Lushnje, who had left a few minutes earlier towards a barbershop, with the intention of returning to the bar.
Meanwhile, the following were arrested: Eri Kasapi, 20 years old; Saviol Shehu, 24 years old; Gledion Mullaj, 21 years old; Helio Toli, 20 years old; and Lusian Sulo, 22 years old, all residents of Lushnje. They were at the same table with the 21-year-old and did not cooperate with the authorities, not showing ownership of the jacket and the weapon, which is considered obstruction of police action.
During the search of Marlind Sulo's apartment, bullets were also found, strengthening the suspicions against him. A pistol-type firearm, combat ammunition, a vehicle and five mobile phones were also seized.

Following the actions, it was possible to identify the person who possessed the sweatshirt and the firearm, specifically citizen MS, 21 years old, resident of Lushnja, who had left a few minutes ago to a barbershop and was about to return. Following the actions, citizens EK, 20 years old, S. Sh., 24 years old, GM, 21 years old, HT, 20 years old and LS, 22 years old, all residents of Lushnja, who were at a table with citizen M. S, and did not indicate to whom the sweatshirt and the weapon belonged, obstructing the Police in their actions. Following the actions, during the search in the apartment of citizen M. S, combat ammunition (cartridges) was found.
As material evidence, a pistol-type firearm, combat ammunition, 1 vehicle and 5 mobile phones were seized. Work continues to arrest the 21-year-old. The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offense of "Failure to report a crime", charged against the 5 arrested citizens, as well as "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", charged against citizen MS, who is wanted," the police statement said.
