Vlora police have cracked down on another case of illegal activity, discovering and seizing combat ammunition and explosives in an apartment in the city.
According to the police, during the search of Aldo Collari's apartment, 158 live ammunition and a mold of explosive material, suspected to be TNT, were found and seized.
At the end of the procedural actions, the 35-year-old, resident of Vlora, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."
"Following the continuous crackdown on criminal activities, as well as on the basis of information obtained operationally, specialists from the Crime Investigation Section at the Vlora Police Commissariat cracked down on a case of unauthorized possession of combat ammunition and explosives.
During the search conducted at the apartment of citizen AC, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 158 live ammunition and 1 can of explosive material, suspected to be TNT.
At the end of the procedural actions, citizen AC, 35 years old, resident of Vlora, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Vlora Court of First Instance, for further action," the police announced.
