A 26-year-old man was arrested by the police after assembling remote-controlled mines.
The following is the coded police operation "Knock Out 5", as a result of which, yesterday, 5 tritol molds, 2 of them programmed for remote explosion, 7 detonator capsules and military ammunition were seized.
Today, the 26-year-old wanted man, who is suspected of being an accomplice of the 2 citizens arrested during the operation, for the preparation of explosive material, was put in handcuffs.
" The services of the Sarandë Police Station, in implementation of the measures drawn up within the police mega-operation coded "Rule of Law", based on the information provided during the operation, on the location of the citizen declared wanted within the operation "Knock out 5", organized the work and as a result made it possible to catch and detain the citizen:
• K. Ç., 26 years old, resident of Saranda.
This citizen was wanted as he is suspected of being an accomplice in the preparation of explosives, of citizens HO, 61 years old and HO, 56 years old (brothers), who were arrested during the operation, after 5 molds were found and seized in their homes tritol (2 of them programmed for remote detonation), 7 detonator capsules, 3 combs and combat ammunition.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, for further actions ," the police announced.
