Speaking about the case of Durrës, where the children killed their father and then buried him in the livestock hall, the investigative journalist Spartak Koka, who says that it was Fatmir Meta, Pëllumb Meta's cousin, who was the first to find out that something may have happened to the latter.
According to the journalist, on Sunday, Pëllumb Meta and Fatmir Meta had left to meet to buy a cow, but this never happened. When the cousin tried to call him, no one answered.
This is where the first doubt started. After that, Fatmiri went with the brother of the deceased to Pëllumbi's house and Hyseni appeared in front of them, who pretended not to know anything.
"We forced them to file a complaint", the cousin said, while he asked the boy: "Have you done anything to the Pigeon?"
Spartak Koka: Fatmir Meta, Pëllumb Meta's cousin, uncle's son, was the one who signaled first and found that something had happened to Pëllumb Meta. He was the closest person in daily communications with him. Pëllumb Meta lost contact on Saturday; on Sunday they had let them buy a cow, while on Sunday they did not answer the phone. He was worried, he called Pëllumbi's brother, Ramazan, and said: "Have you seen Pëllumbi?"
"It's been two or three days since I saw him", he said.
They called the boy on Monday, because he kept ringing the number and the number was turned off. They called Hysen and he (the cousin) also gave an interview today and said: "I was the one who went to the house. I got him on the phone on Monday". "Then on Tuesday", he said, "we got together with Pellumbi's brother and went to his house. Hyseni and the other boy came to our house and acted as if they didn't know anything. We have forced them to file a complaint". "I told him," he said, "haven't you done anything to Pigeon?" "
Because according to him, there was some kind of contradiction between Hyseni and his father. According to him, he did not go out to communicate with them, neither with his brother, nor with his wife, and he is the one they insisted on all the time. Pöllumb Meta's brother tells us something else. He tells us that: "I was notified by Hysen Meta about finding the car, on the 17th. And when I went to the scene, it was Hyseni who told me: 'Uncle, here is the car'".

Spartak Koka: The wife talks about violence. Physical violence against her from the moment she got married; violence which he has endured throughout these years in a systematic way. It does not talk about psychological violence against children, but not about physical violence. And according to her, if she were to denounce this violence, she could be in danger. He could break free and kill her.
