An explosion with tritol occurred in a residence near the center of Durrës. The incident happened near the "Bedrie Bebeziqi" school.
Sources from the scene say that there was a tritol explosion in the apartment of Ilir Koçiles, who allegedly killed Haki Koka with a knife.
46-year-old Halil Koka was killed with a knife in the heart by his neighbor Ilir Koçilja at noon on February 14, in district number 4 of the city of Durrës. The fight between them started in the courtyard of the palace and then moved a few meters away, on the main street, in front of the 9-year-old "Jusuf Puka" school.
After the physical confrontation between them, the 46-year-old tried to run away, but was followed by the aggressor who shot him twice with a knife. The ambulance immediately arrived at the scene, but Koka died during transport to the hospital. The 35-year-old Kocilja, the person you see in the photo, was able to escape for three hours, until the 'Eagle' forces handcuffed him in neighborhood number 11, and seized the knife he was carrying in his pocket.
In order to clarify the motives of the murder, the investigators interrogated the victim's family members and the eyewitnesses of the event. Based on the evidence, the first investigation track was established. The author, Ilir Koçilja, had borrowed a sum of money from Halil Koka and refused to repay it. This is believed to be the main motive of the quarrel between them that degenerated into murder. So many other witnesses told the police that the fight arose over a parking space in the neighborhood.
Kocilja is a person with mental health problems and has been a problem in the area. The police are investigating whether today's explosion is related to the murder, while the perpetrators are being sought, since the event happened at a time when the area is populated. It is known that there was no material damage, but only panic among the residents of the building.
The police responded to the incident and said that there were no people in the apartment. Tritoli is placed near the window and there is only material damage.
" On 26.02.2024, around 19:55, in neighborhood no. 4, Durrës, on the outside of the window of the apartment of citizen IK, in which no one lives, a small amount of material was thrown and exploded explosive causing only material damage.
The investigative group is at the scene and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues the work to unravel the incident, identify and capture the author/s , said the police.
