The Tirana Prosecutor's Office has seized three assets of Ilber Domi, who is under investigation by German authorities for drug trafficking.
The Tirana Prosecutor's Office has seized the assets of a citizen wanted by German authorities for drug trafficking.
This is Ilber Domin, internationally wanted by Interpol Wiesbaden, Germany, for the criminal offenses of 'Trafficking in narcotics' and 'Possession and sale of weapons of war and ammunition'.
According to the Prosecution, it has resulted that during the period 2011-2024, the value of the income of Domi and his family is less than the total value of the investments and personal expenses made by him. Part of the group that dealt with the sale and trafficking of drugs in Germany are Ilber Domi's brother, Edmond Domi, 39 years old, and Ernest Domi, 38 years old.
The Tirana Prosecution requested the seizure of assets and the court accepted the seizure of the following assets:
– Real estate no. 116/27, type of field with an area of 850 m2 located in Zall Herr, Tirana;
– Apartment property, with an area of 113.8m2, divided into 77.7m2 net area, 11.3m2 common area and 24.8m2 veranda; and
– Unit property, with a gross area of 98.8m2, as well as 2 parking spaces with numbers P53 and P54, ordered according to the contract.
"Under investigation in Germany for 'Production and sale of narcotics', the Tirana Prosecution Office seizes the assets of citizen ID in Albania.
At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, the assets of citizen ID, declared internationally wanted by Interpol Wiesbaden, Germany, for the criminal offenses of 'Trafficking in narcotics' and 'Possession and sale of weapons of war and ammunition' provided for by the German Criminal Code, were seized.
In the framework of property investigation no. 01, dated 17.01.2024, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana has confirmed that the above citizen is under investigation by the German authorities for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", a criminal offense which is the subject of law no. 10192.
The asset investigation for citizen ID and his family members for the period 2011-2024 resulted in the value of this citizen's income being less than the total value of his investments and personal expenses.
Taking into account the results of the property investigations conducted in relation to citizen ID and his relatives, it is proven that he has been involved in the criminal activity 'Drug trafficking' and from this activity has created assets that are not justified by the level of income and legal activity of this citizen.
For these reasons, based on the law "On the prevention and suppression of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana requested the seizure of assets and the court accepted the seizure of the following assets:
– Real estate no. 116/27, type of field with an area of 850 m2 located in Zall Herr, Tirana;
– Apartment property, with an area of 113.8m2, divided into 77.7m2 net area, 11.3m2 common area and 24.8m2 veranda; and
- Unit property, with a gross area of 98.8m2, as well as 2 parking spaces with numbers P53 and P54, ordered according to the contract ," the Prosecution announced.
