A serious incident has occurred in Shkodra. A 3-year-old child died in Shkodra Hospital three days ago.
It is learned that the minor died within 5 hours, while his 7-year-old sister is in a coma. He was admitted to the hospital with signs of poisoning. Due to his serious condition, doctors sent him to the intensive care unit, where he died shortly after.
Later, with the same symptoms, his sister also left for Tirana in serious condition.
Doctors in Shkodra say that we are dealing with blood poisoning, and the tests have been sent to the toxicology department in Tirana where investigations will be conducted.
The circumstances of how they were poisoned are still unknown, but more details are expected to be revealed. Meanwhile, it still remains a mystery why the Shkodra Hospital has not announced the incident, but has kept it secret for 3 days. The police have also not announced it.
