A serious incident happened today in Finiq, as it seems that our country is not finding peace from the suicides.
A former officer of the Prison Police in Saranda was found hanged at the gate of the Manastir in the village of Kostar in the Municipality of Finic.
It was a citizen who was going to light a candle who found the dead body. According to the resident, it was around 7 o'clock this evening, when she came across the lifeless body of the 34-year-old man hanging on the inner door in the courtyard of the Monastery. The police were immediately notified and the officers arrived at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Roland Serjani, 34 years old resident of Delvina, parent of 3 children. It is reported that the victim is a former officer of the Prison Police in the Saranda Detention Center. After the closure of the Detention Center, he was employed as a driver in a private entity in Delvina.
We remind you that in the last week there was a high number of suicides in the country. Yesterday, the American private school teacher, after killing his wife and 2 dogs, hanged himself.
