
7 protesters have been criminally prosecuted after they blocked the road during the opposition rally in front of Tirana City Hall.
The citizens with the initials: AL, 24 years old, EV, 33 years old, BK, 38 years old, AK, 53 years old, KB, 36 years old, EE, 35 years old and GS, 56 years old, all residents of Tirana, were processed.
According to the police, yesterday, the protesters blocked the road and prevented the circulation of vehicles, including those of public and emergency transport, by placing a vehicle in the middle of the road.
"Criminal Investigation Specialists at Police Station No. 1, following the investigative and procedural actions carried out under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, prosecuted the following citizens:
AL, 24 years old, EV, 33 years old, BK, 38 years old, AK, 53 years old, KB, 36 years old, EE, 35 years old and GS, 56 years old, all living in Tirana.
The criminal proceedings against these citizens began after, on 10.01.2025, at around 11:00, during a rally held by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater, in front of Tirana Municipality, they blocked the road and impeded the circulation of vehicles, including public and emergency transport, by placing a vehicle in the middle of the road.
The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
