A shopping center in Lushnje was engulfed in flames at noon today. It is learned that the fire broke out on the third floor of the building.
It is reported that there were people inside the center at the time the building was engulfed in fire. Meanwhile, the police and the fire department have arrived at the scene and are working to put out the fire and evacuate people.
" Around 2:40 p.m., we were informed that a fire broke out in the "Metropol" Shopping Center in the city of Lushnja. The services of the Lushnja Police Station and the "Shqiponja" Special Force have gone to the scene and are taking measures to evacuate citizens and residents in the shopping center. National security forces have also been sent in support of the Local Police for the evacuation of citizens.
Fire services are at the scene and are working to extinguish the flames. A special investigative group has been set up and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work is being done to clarify the circumstances of the fire , the police announced.
