A 65-year-old man was arrested by the Elbasan police after he was sentenced by the court to 2 years and 6 months in prison for 'violation of traffic rules', resulting in death.
The police have arrested Kastriot Elez, after on March 18, 2014, on the "Bilisht-Korçë" road axis, the truck he was driving collided with an "Opel" type vehicle, driven by citizen KT. The pedestrian, citizen EB, was killed in the collision
This citizen was declared a national wanted person, after the Court of Korça, with the decision dated 12.01.2015, sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules", resulting in death.
On 18.03.2014, on the "Bilisht-Korçë" road axis, the truck driven by this citizen collided with an "Opel" type vehicle, driven by citizen KT. The pedestrian, citizen EB, was killed in the collision.
Further procedural actions will be carried out by the structures of DVP Korçë.'- the police announced.
