Police have arrested the perpetrator of the injury that occurred last night in Pogradec.
The police have arrested the suspected perpetrator, 54-year-old LO, while 38-year-old AB, who helped the perpetrator leave the scene, has been released on bail.
The incident occurred at around 20:20 in neighborhood no. 3 of the city. After receiving the notification of the injury, the services of the Pogradec Police Commissariat immediately organized the necessary actions and went to the scene. Thanks to investigative and operational actions, the police identified the perpetrator of the injury.
According to the investigation, after the conflict, LO left the scene in a "Benz" vehicle, assisted by AB. After several hours of searching, the police managed to capture the suspected perpetrator.
LO was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury" and "Unlicensed production and possession of cold weapons." While AB was prosecuted for "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime."
The vehicle and the cutting tool have been seized as material evidence. The injured person has received medical assistance and is out of danger. The procedural materials will be referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further action.
