A 41-year-old man has fallen into the hands of the Pogradec police, after being accused of having planned the murder of 3 people 6 years ago with whom he reportedly had a conflict.
Official sources informed that Lorenc Kuqo, a resident of the village of Rëmenj, ended up behind bars. The 41-year-old was wanted after being sentenced by the Court to 7 years and 3 months in prison.
"He provided the conditions and material means to kill in a bar, 3 citizens with whom he had a conflict for weak motives, in 2017, the 41-year-old was put in handcuffs. Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Pogradec Police Station executed the order of the Prosecutor's Office, for the detention of the wanted citizen:
- Lorenc Kuqo, 41 years old, resident in the village of Rëmenj, Pogradec. The arrest of this citizen was made after the Supreme Court sentenced him to 7 years and 3 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses of "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and of ammunition", from which he has 3 years and 3 months left to suffer.
The event/On 25.04.2017, the 41-year-old, after conflicts for weak motives with 3 citizens, planned to kill them. The timely intervention of the Police prevented the serious event, which was planned to take place in the premises of a bar. As material evidence, 1 Kalashnikov assault rifle, 1 vehicle and 1 hood (mask) owned by citizen Lorenc Kuqo were seized. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions," the police announced.
