The Vlora Police, in cooperation with the Rapid Intervention Forces and the Traffic Police, have conducted increased checks at the entrance to the city, as part of measures to guarantee security and prevent illegality.
During the operation, various vehicles were stopped and checked, with officers verifying the documentation and identity of the people in each vehicle entering the city.
The focus of the checks has been on new vehicles and individuals considered dangerous, as well as on identifying wanted persons. In parallel, checks have been carried out to prevent the transport of illegal items.
According to police sources, several traffic violations were also found during the action, for which administrative measures with fines were imposed.
The operation is part of the reinforced controls being carried out in various cities, while authorities indicate that the verifications will continue in the coming days.
