Yesterday, a 31-year-old woman from Kosovo was found dead in a hotel in Durrës.
Regarding this event, the Prosecution launched investigations into two people, the administrators of the hotel in the Shkëmbi i Kavajës area, where the 31-year-old woman was found dead.
After investigations, it is suspected that the 2 administrators did not issue a tax receipt for the rental of the premises, where the 31-year-old had been staying since December 2025.
An examination of the victim's body revealed no external injuries that could have caused her death.
Meanwhile, the body has been sent for a forensic autopsy, in order to determine the exact cause of death.
"Durres Local Police Directorate - Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person at the Durres DVP referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens VE, 38 years old, and A. Sh., 34 years old, both residents of Durres, administrators of a hotel in the Shkëmbi i Kavajës area, after:
Yesterday, Kosovar citizen JH, 31 years old, was found dead in the premises of this hotel. A preliminary examination of the body did not reveal any external injuries that could have caused death. The body has been sent for a forensic autopsy, in order to determine the exact cause of death.
From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the 2 administrators did not issue a tax coupon for the rental of the premises, where the citizen had been staying since December 2025.
